I know this book had quite a few awkward moments at the start, even some truly problematic spots, but if you think about it carefully, it actually all makes sense!
Before Xie Jing gained his powers, he could only rely on bluffing.
Once he had his strength, nothing in this world could stand in his way. He could live as he pleased and say whatever he wished.
Why must he hide the fact that this is a special effects story? If Xie Jing wants to reveal it, he can do so at any time!
If someone told me right now that my life was a movie, I wouldn’t believe them. But if they revealed everything that was going to happen to me, I’d have no choice but to believe.
Anyone who’s made it this far has endured my problematic points and accepted my perspective—rest assured, those awkward plotlines won’t appear again.
