As for the general direction of this book, it’s about climbing the ladder of technology step by step, with a more realistic approach.
Even if it can't be called rigorous science fiction, it refuses to devolve into brainless wish fulfillment.
The focus is on basic industry and foundational systems; in the short term, there won’t be any black-tech creations like mechas.
Those just aren’t possible with current industrial capabilities.
It may be science fiction, but let’s not go too far into the realm of fantasy—magic-level fantasy.
At present, even simple industrial robots are a challenge, so it’s impossible to leap straight to things like antigravity engines or warp drives.
That’s not technological advancement—that’s just... well, nonsense.
