Ling Yue Ji took the booklet and flipped it open, studying the reward system carefully. She found it somewhat unbelievable. The very fact that Lin Yang was establishing a school baffled her—after all, who in possession of such skills would willingly reveal their secrets? Yet Lin Yang was willing to open a school to teach his alchemical techniques. This was essentially handing down his legacy openly.

“Is Master Lin really sure about this kind of publicity?” she asked for confirmation once more, as this was something she hadn’t encountered in centuries.

“Of course. I don’t believe anyone can surpass me,” Lin Yang said confidently.

“Very well, I’ll head out immediately.” Receiving the affirmative reply, Ling Yue Ji departed, already sensing the tremendous stir this news would cause. After all, Lin Yang’s recent auction had sparked a grand event, and throughout the chaotic sea of stars, everyone knew Lin Yang as the finest alchemist.

Now that this news had broken, it was bound to create opportunities for all alchemists. Although some of the older generation, considering themselves elders, might avoid the Alchemy Pavilion, there would certainly be loyal alchemists eager to advance who would come.

Other guilds would inevitably feel the influence of the Alchemy Pavilion founded by Lin Yang. While they might not openly interfere, they could still cause subtle troubles behind the scenes. Ling Yue Ji already foresaw a busy time ahead.

Lost in thought, she stepped outside, clutching the booklet.

Lin Yang watched her leave and returned to his underground chamber, gazing at the small teleportation array he had set up—already linked to the teleportation array in Yue Kingdom.

His heart surged with excitement. Now he could freely travel between two places. Next, he planned to establish a guild in Yue Kingdom or somewhere on the continent. He would continuously flood the chaotic star sea with various goods, steadily gathering resources. He needed to build a reliable power base.

With that in mind, Lin Yang took out five spirit stones and placed them at the five points of the teleportation array. He then infused it with spiritual energy. Suddenly, a strange light burst from the center, gradually filling the entire underground chamber.

When the brilliance enveloped him completely, a spatial distortion formed at the center of the white light, and Lin Yang vanished from the chamber.

Meanwhile, inside a cave in the Yun Duan Mountain Range, the worn teleportation array flared to life again. A flash of white light appeared, and Lin Yang materialized above the array. Gravity pulled him downwards, stirring dust as he landed on the ground.

“Looks like it worked,” Lin Yang said, watching the light from the teleportation array fade. The two arrays were now connected.

He could now freely travel between these two locations. Next, he arranged a vast trapping formation throughout the entire cave. Although he had set up an array before, it had been rushed and certainly wasn’t as powerful as his upgraded skills now.

He sealed off the entire cave, allowing only those bearing his token to enter. Anyone without it would be trapped in illusions, forced to wander through the cave endlessly.

“That’s about it. Time to head out,” Lin Yang said, satisfied.

He returned to his secluded chamber, opened the door, and looked out at the brilliant sunlight. His journey to the chaotic star sea had taken three full months. Dust covered the ground, and as he pushed the door open, the dust fell to the floor.

Outside, a disciple was sweeping the floor. Hearing the noise, he looked up to see Lin Yang emerging. Quickly, he put down his broom, knelt, and bowed deeply, calling out loud, “Congratulations, Daoist, on your great advancement!”

Lin Yang smiled, pleased with the disciple’s respect. He pulled out a small bottle and tossed it to him as a reward.

“Alright, go on and do your work,” Lin Yang said, then turned and headed toward the main hall.

“Thank you for the gift, Daoist!” the disciple exclaimed happily, bowing twice more.

Nearby, another disciple watched with envy. After Lin Yang left, he approached.

“Congratulations, Senior Brother Zhang, on receiving the Daoist’s gift.”

“Too bad I’m not as lucky as Senior Brother Zhang,” the other disciple sighed.

“Liu junior brother, we are actually quite fortunate. Remember, I was assigned to Yun Duan Mountain’s spirit vein to mine spirit stones because I offended some elders,” Zhang replied.

“I never expected my luck to turn when Uncle Jia selected me. Now we stay here, enjoying the dense spiritual energy and a peaceful life.”

“And we even receive an annual salary. Those who remain here are envied by other disciples.”

Zhang smiled, recalling how he had once been punished but now enjoyed such a good position.

“That’s right. I was assigned here because I failed to show filial respect to the elders. Of the hundreds of disciples mining here, only about a dozen of us remain.”

“We truly are riding the wave of good fortune.”

The two continued their conversation as they resumed sweeping.

Lin Yang entered the grand hall at the highest point of the mountain range. This hall served as his reception area, though he rarely had visitors—still, it was wise to be prepared.

Two disciples guarding the entrance bowed respectfully as he entered.

Lin Yang looked at them and assigned a task.

“Go and call your uncles and senior brothers—Lin Hu, Lin Shu, and the others.”

“Yes, Daoist, we’ll go immediately.”

The two disciples hurried off to deliver the message.

Lin Yang sat at the main seat, took out a teapot, and poured in purified water. After heating it, he added tea leaves he had exchanged for with alchemical pills.

When the temperature was right, he distributed the tea into several cups, placing them where the guests would soon be seated.

These cups had been obtained from that hefty fellow—nothing precious but quite fitting.

Soon, Lin Hu arrived first, accompanied by Lin Shi Yu.

“Uncle,” they greeted, bowing deeply to Lin Yang.

“Good, sit and try this tea. I got it from another fine place. It’s excellent tea,” Lin Yang said.

Lin Hu tasted the tea and felt a soothing sensation wash over him, sensing a slight boost in his cultivation and spirit.

“Uncle, how much of this tea do you have? Could you spare some for me?” Lin Hu shamelessly asked, feeling its benefits.

“Alright, but drink sparingly. Too much won’t help,” Lin Yang replied, pondering for a moment. He still had quite a bit from the old Water Family patriarch.

He took out a small jade box and gave some to Lin Hu.

The three of them slowly savored the tea. Before long, everyone had arrived.

The hall was now occupied by Lin Hu, Lin Shu, Wang Ling’er, Yun Ting, and Lin Shi Yu.

At the same time, Lin Shuang’er ran over and sat in Lin Yang’s lap, behaving obediently. Lin Yang, looking at the rosy-cheeked little girl, finally understood what it meant to have a "little cotton-padded jacket"—a term of endearment for a cherished child.

Nearby, Lin Shu kept sipping the tea, twisting restlessly as if he had ants under his skin. With a dark expression, he scolded, “How much do you intend to drink? Don’t you know the situation? Sit still and stop fidgeting.”
