Ouyang Junyan graduated from S University.

He was truly a top student in the finance department, and during his studies, he was also known as the campus heartthrob of his year. Even now, there are legendary posts about him on S University’s forum. For instance, that his IQ was 160, that he received love letters from ten beautiful female classmates at once, or that he single-handedly defeated the entire debate team during his first debate competition.

Fang Zhiyin knew all about his past, down to every detail, after all… she had once been deeply in love with him for many years!

But what was he doing, going to his alma mater at this hour instead of to his company?!

The more Fang Zhiyin thought about it, the more uneasy she felt. She tried to call him, only to discover that in his hurry to leave, he’d forgotten his phone at home. She went to his room to fetch it, then had the driver prepare the car immediately to take her to S University, wanting to see if he really was going there.

Arriving at S University.

From afar, she saw Ouyang Junyan peering around at the entrance, and hurried toward him. “Ouyang Junyan!”

He was startled. “Old woman, why are you following me to school? Are you some kind of stalker?!”

Fang Zhiyin was mortified, especially since there were plenty of passersby and students nearby, all watching them with curious eyes.

Unlike his usual slicked-back hairstyle, his hair now fell softly over his brow, and his large black eyes glared angrily at her, giving him an oddly youthful air.

Did he really think he was a college student again?

As she stared, Ouyang Junyan turned and ran off.

Fang Zhiyin looked at the security guard standing nearby, playing the bystander. “Sir, why did you let a stranger into your school?” As far as she knew, a student ID was required to enter the university.

“Ouyang donated a gymnasium and a library to S University. He’s quite the celebrity here.”

Fang Zhiyin was exasperated. “Then I should be allowed in too.”

But the guard stopped her, refusing to let her through.

By the time she managed to enter, the class bell had already rung, and Ouyang Junyan was nowhere to be seen.

Where was the finance department?

Fang Zhiyin spotted a few girls who were clearly skipping class and quickly approached them to ask where finance lectures were held.

“Wasn’t that just now… him?!”

“Yes! It’s him!”

The girls began whispering excitedly.

“Are you talking about Ouyang Junyan?”

“Auntie, how did you know?”

The girls, who had been planning to skip class, decided to go back after all, spurred by the sudden return of their former campus idol.

Fang Zhiyin followed them all the way to a large lecture hall that could hold over two hundred people.

“Amazing! Am I seeing things? Mr. Ouyang is actually back attending class! Even the professor is too excited to teach!”

“So many girls are queuing to take photos with him! I want one too!”

Soon, more students—mostly female—came rushing in, squealing with excitement, pushing the bewildered Fang Zhiyin to the edge of the crowd.

Someone shoved her against the wall, pain shooting up her back.

Fang Zhiyin: …Wait, will anyone tell me what on earth is going on here?

Ouyang Junyan stood there in a daze.

His dark eyes were wide with shock, his expression a mix of fright and confusion. Around him clustered a throng of girls, all blushing as they raised their phones for selfies. Surprised that he wasn’t refusing, the girls were practically faint with joy.

Ouyang Junyan wasn’t a celebrity, but he was a legend at S University. Many believed his return was a surprise visit, and the excitement was palpable.

Fang Zhiyin thought he must have gone mad.

“Ouyang… darling! Don’t disturb the students during class!” Fang Zhiyin didn’t care why Ouyang Junyan had come to S University; all she could think of now was to get him out of there.

She forced her way through the crowd, finally reaching his side.

Ouyang Junyan regarded her with utter disdain. “You’re not from S University. How did you get in?!”

“You lunatic!” Fang Zhiyin hissed in his ear, “I’m your wife! If you can get in, of course I can too!”

At her words, Ouyang Junyan’s eyes widened as if they might split. “You’re lying…”

Then, Fang Zhiyin dragged Ouyang Junyan out of the lecture hall by sheer force.

Fortunately, the driver was waiting outside. It took both her and the driver considerable effort to get the struggling Ouyang Junyan—who was determined to return to class at S University—into the car.

As he continued to resist, Fang Zhiyin sighed. “Is it because I mentioned divorce last night… did that upset you so much?”

“Divorce?” Ouyang Junyan’s face twisted in pain. “You’re not lying to me? I really don’t know you! This morning was the first time I ever saw you!”

Fang Zhiyin was too stunned to speak. She’d thought his odd behavior today was a reaction to the news from last night.

But now, it seemed he was seriously unwell.

“Madam, where to now? To… the company?” the driver asked from the front.

At this hour, Ouyang Junyan would usually have already finished his morning meeting.

“I want to go back to school!” Ouyang Junyan shot Fang Zhiyin a cold, unfamiliar look that made her shiver.

She had never seen Ouyang Junyan like this.

They had met years ago through friends; for her, it was love at first sight. As for him… perhaps he’d never had any feelings for her at all.

Though their marriage of a year had not been especially affectionate, he had always fulfilled his duties as a husband.

Now Fang Zhiyin’s heart ached unbearably. She whispered, “To the hospital…”

But there was no way Ouyang Junyan would go to a hospital.

With no other option, Fang Zhiyin tried a trick she’d seen on TV—she brought her hand down on his neck.

He shoved her away violently, and her head struck the car window.

A jolt, then everything went black.

When Fang Zhiyin awoke, she was in the Ouyang Group offices.

She was a regular visitor to Ouyang Junyan’s office—there was no mistaking the scene before her.

This was the top-floor CEO’s office with its floor-to-ceiling glass walls, modern design, monochrome tones, and understated luxury.

At this moment, Ouyang Junyan stood with his back to her, tall and upright, gazing intently out the massive window, lost in thought.

Fang Zhiyin, still nursing her aching head, sat up on the sofa. “Ouyang?”

At the sound of her voice, he slowly turned around, his hawk-like eyes pinning her with such intensity that her heart clenched.

How strange—he’d never looked at her like that before! Fang Zhiyin thought.

She immediately asked, “Have you remembered something?”

Ouyang Junyan strode over, looming above her with a blank expression. “I am the CEO of Ouyang Group. I am your husband.”

Fang Zhiyin’s excitement flared. “You remember?!”
