“Haha...” In the dormitory, the big guy burst out laughing wildly. “This is killing me! That guy who sells knockoff goods thought he could take on Number Six, but ended up twisting his own ankle instead. Now it’s swollen like a steamed bun—serves him right.”

Night had fallen by the time Su Tong and his two friends finished their basketball game and returned to their dorm.

“Su Tong, you really keep a low profile,” Shao Sheng couldn’t help but say.

Su Tong’s performance tonight had been nothing short of earth-shattering. Their three-man team swept through the university, unbeatable, holding the court until both the big guy and Shao Sheng were nearly exhausted.

“Number Six, you ought to join the school team. With skills like yours, it would be a shame not to. No, actually, not just the school team—you could probably make it to the BA league. I bet you weren’t even showing your full strength tonight. Sigh, if I had your moves, I’d have joined the BA ages ago,” the big guy joked, both happy and sighing in admiration—Su Tong had truly stunned everyone.

Toward the end, Su Tong felt embarrassed to even take the ball, because whenever he went on the attack, the three defenders might as well not have been there.

A couple of opponents had tried to double-team him a few times, but Su Tong broke through each time with effortless ease, as if he were simply strolling past them.

“Number Six, I suggest you stop going to the basketball courts. With your skill, it was right not to go before. If you show up now, what’s left for the rest of us? Shao Sheng and I are just scenery, decorative at best, barely even noticeable,” the big guy suddenly added.

Shao Sheng nodded—they simply weren’t playing in the same league.

“Haha, Number Six is a basketball genius, huh? If there’s no one left to compete with, join me for football instead,” the third roommate, lying half-sprawled on the top bunk, laughed.

The big guy was second oldest in the dorm, Shao Sheng was fourth, and Su Tong, being the youngest, was Number Six.

“Football? Sure, we can go together when I have time,” Su Tong replied, exhausted, as he gathered his things and headed to the dorm’s communal bathroom for a shower.

In the summer, many preferred to shower in the dorm building, only going to the main bathhouse for a thorough wash every few days.

Meanwhile, in Ding Wei’s dorm—

“Hey, Jia Chang, are you back at school yet?” Ding Wei lay half-reclined on his bed, calling a classmate. “Man, I got bullied...”

As it turned out, this guy had a classmate from his high school basketball team who was studying in Yandu.

Ding Wei had been shaken to the ground by Su Tong in the first match and left with a twisted foot, needing help to walk. He still had no idea just how terrifying Su Tong’s basketball skills really were, and now planned to invite his old friend over to teach Su Tong a lesson.

“No problem. I’m not on the school team here, but I am on the faculty team, still keeping up with my training. Beating ordinary students is a piece of cake. Just set a date and I’ll bring a teammate with me,” Jia Chang readily agreed.

Ding Wei hung up, a cold smile creeping onto his sullen face.

He thought, “You made me lose face in front of Tang Yan, but I’ll get my revenge soon enough.”

Su Tong had just returned to campus and was swamped with things to do. He hadn’t been able to afford a computer before, but this time, he had to buy one.

The day after his return, he and his roommates went to Zhongguancun and bought a laptop.

From now on, he’d rely on it to upload his content. As for streaming, that was out of the question—not only was he lacking the equipment, but with the school’s tortoise-paced internet, the stream would freeze constantly. Fans who weren’t leaving already would be driven away by that.

That afternoon, the club office held a meeting to assign tasks for welcoming new students the next day. Afterward, Su Tong greeted his roommates and left campus.

Exiting through the west gate, Su Tong dialed a number.

Just as the call connected, he spotted a BMW with its door open. A woman stepped out, phone in hand, and waved to him.

“You must be Sister Yaya,” Su Tong approached, greeting her politely.

He’d seen her once before.

“Get in. Feifei’s waiting at home,” Sister Yaya said as she climbed back in and closed the door.

Su Tong tried to open the back door, found it locked, so he moved forward awkwardly and got into the front passenger seat.

“Trying to sit in the back?” Sister Yaya smiled slightly, as if teasing him for being afraid she might eat him alive.

Su Tong felt a bit embarrassed. He wasn’t used to being picked up by a woman alone.

This was, in fact, the first time in his life he’d ever sat alone in a car with a woman.

This woman was Yang Feifei’s primary bodyguard. According to the willful but guileless Feifei, Sister Yaya was far more formidable than the bodyguard Dalong. If she’d been on the train that other day, those four thugs would never have managed to injure or kill anyone.

Su Tong hadn’t streamed since leaving home on the 29th—it was now the 31st.

To keep his followers, he needed exposure and frequent streams, so tonight he planned to go live.

Coincidentally, on the night of the 29th, Yang Feifei had asked him to invite her to his next live stream—she wanted to watch in person for fun.

Su Tong, bold as ever, agreed, but said he had nowhere to stream from—how could he stream at school?

Back in his freshman year, he only streamed on weekends, and would go to a high-end internet café to rent a private room for two days.

Even so, the stream quality was poor—just barely passable.

When he mentioned having no place to stream, Yang Feifei volunteered to arrange a venue for him.

Su Tong added that he also needed equipment for streaming.

Yang Feifei was annoyed but held back—she could get him the equipment too. For a streaming setup, a graphics card and a microphone, what’s the worst? Ten thousand at most. She had money to spare.

In the end, Su Tong reluctantly agreed to let Yang Feifei watch him stream in person.

In reality, he was delighted. Yang Feifei was the type to help count the money after being sold.

But his conscience pricked him a little—since he was heading to a place provided by her and was being picked up by Sister Yaya, he felt a bit awkward.

“Feifei has heard some of your stories—she loves listening to you. She hopes you’ll give a good performance tonight,” Sister Yaya said as she drove, her manner gentle, though not quite like the woman Su Tong had seen in the plaza at the Golden Garden that day.

The car ride took just over ten minutes before stopping in a residential parking lot.

Su Tong was a little envious—this was a high-end community. Not as grand as the Golden Garden, but with elevator buildings, good property management, and clean, comfortable surroundings.

He and Sister Yaya took the elevator straight to the 25th floor and stepped out.

Su Tong wasn’t good at reading people, but with his little devil’s support feature enabled, he was told that this delicate-looking woman in professional attire was actually quite dangerous.

“I can sense she’s very wary of you,” the little devil whispered to Su Tong.

“I should be the one wary—she’s the one bringing me somewhere unfamiliar,” Su Tong thought, following cautiously behind Sister Yaya.

From time to time, his eyes would stray to her skirt-clad hips—firm, shapely, perfectly proportioned.

“We’re here,” Sister Yaya announced, stopping at a door and retrieving a key from her bag.

Su Tong almost walked right into her.

Damn, how embarrassing—he’d been staring at her behind. Even if she hadn’t noticed before, she must have felt it now.

The security door swung open. The inner door was unlocked; Sister Yaya turned the handle and entered.

Su Tong braced himself and followed—at any rate, there was nothing to worry about. Robbery was out of the question, and if something more intimate happened...well, he wouldn’t exactly be at a loss. Sister Yaya’s looks were on par with Yang Feifei’s, and her figure was even better.

“Sister Yaya, you’re back!” Before Su Tong even stepped inside, a coquettish female voice rang out from within.
