Chapter 133: First Encounter
When this petite trainee appeared, whose figure boasted proportions that would make countless women envious, Su Tong and Lin Yin reacted quite differently.
Su Tong’s eyes widened, his mouth slightly agape. *Good grief,* he thought, *this girl is under 1.6 meters tall, yet her bust is even larger than Lin Yin’s, who is nearly 1.7 meters.*
Lin Yin’s figure was already impressive, but compared to this petite woman, it paled in comparison.
"Hello, hello, I’m Lin Yin." Lin Yin reached out, shaking her hand with a friendly demeanor.
"Are they fake?" Su Tong muttered, feeling somewhat skeptical. With a lecherous look on his face, he stared unabashedly at Xu Yanwei’s chest.
A flicker of irritation crossed Xu Yanwei’s eyes, but she masked it perfectly, pretending she hadn't heard a thing.
"Sister Lin, the song you sang was truly beautiful, especially the arrangement—it completely subverted the original," Xu Yanwei said, smiling as she engaged with Lin Yin.
"Thank you for the compliment. My teacher helped me adapt the arrangement; I don't really know much about that sort of thing, and I didn't sing it very well..."
"Wow, your teacher must be amazing. If there’s an opportunity, you simply must introduce me. I’d love to get his autograph..."
The two began chatting in a corner of the recording studio, appearing like long-lost sisters.
Su Tong was speechless. This Xu Yanwei was the very same rising star from the Wang family that Yang Feifei had repeatedly warned them to be wary of before they arrived. Although he knew Lin Yin could act, she was the idol type, and her acting was rather exaggerated. If they kept chatting, the simple-minded Lin Yin would surely be taken for a ride.
"Sister Yinyin, you should head out first. Don't dawdle here," Su Tong said, urging Lin Yin to return to the hotel.
Lin Yin understood exactly what Su Tong meant. This Xu Yanwei was too persistent, constantly fishing for information while maintaining a deceptively friendly facade. Xu Yanwei wasn't a classic beauty at first glance, but she had a certain charm that grew on you. Even after just a short conversation, Lin Yin felt herself starting to like the girl.
After Lin Yin left, Xu Yanwei tried to sidle up to Su Tong. He glanced at her chest and told her to get in line, as it was his turn to rehearse.
Once Su Tong left, a handsome young man walked over to Xu Yanwei. "What do you think of those two?"
Xu Yanwei looked toward Su Tong on the stage. "The girl is naive, but the 'little fresh meat' is quite shrewd. He didn't burn any bridges, but he doesn't want to play our game either."
"He won't get far," Qin Feng said with a laugh, crossing his arms and wearing headphones.
Xu Yanwei was surprised. "He’s an internet singer and a brilliant singer-songwriter. There’s no reason the Qin Emperor label wouldn't let him succeed."
Qin Feng gave a cold smile. "He hasn't signed with Qin Emperor yet, while that 'doll-voice' girl signed ages ago. Do you really think he’ll get far?"
Xu Yanwei wondered, "Why wouldn't he sign? His voice is unique, he can mimic over twenty different male and female vocal styles, and his singing technique is top-tier. Once he signs, the championship is basically his."
The Great Qin Empire had three entertainment giants—three major companies. All three participated in controlling this program. Since the show couldn't afford to offend any of them, a rule was established: for the final four-way championship round, the winner would be decided by a jury of five hundred media members, with the production team refraining from interference. Therefore, whoever had the strongest skills and the best song choice would essentially take the title.
"That, I don't know," Qin Feng said, his body swaying to a rhythm. He seemed quite frivolous.
Su Tong finished his rehearsal and stepped off the stage. Qin Feng strolled over, relaxed; like Xu Yanwei, he was an internally selected trainee, so he had no psychological burden.
"You sang well. Let’s be friends. I’m Qin Feng," Qin Feng said, extending a hand.
Su Tong shook it cheerfully. "This song, 'I Believe,' was practically born for me. You’re too kind. I’m Nian Nu Jiao."
Qin Feng chuckled. "Are you planning to stick with that screen name until the end?"
Su Tong figured the other party had thoroughly investigated his background. Qin Feng was an artist under the Wang family’s entertainment agency, which was on good terms with the Shi family; Yang Feifei had mentioned him.
"You actually know 'Nian Nu Jiao'?" Su Tong feigned ignorance, looking surprised.
Qin Feng praised him, "Many in the industry follow you. They call you the most mysterious internet celebrity; how could I not know you?"
Su Tong glanced at Xu Yanwei, who was standing next to Qin Feng, and said quietly, "Then we really are fated. Listening to your accent, you’re a local, right? Do you know which places offer good 'special services'? I want to experience the techniques of the Shanghai girls—preferably someone with a figure like the young lady next to you."
Qin Feng immediately regretted not recording the conversation. He couldn't let such a chance slip by, but this young man was too reckless, saying whatever came to mind without a care for his image. Many artists had been blacklisted after private, compromising videos were leaked online.
Xu Yanwei had wanted to act alongside Qin Feng to probe Su Tong’s background, but after being teased like this, she couldn't keep her composure. Boiling with silent rage, she gave up on her mission and stopped talking, realizing she had encountered a little hooligan.
"Ahem, well, I’m not really sure about that..." Qin Feng said, feeling stifled. He wanted to reach for his phone to record, but with Su Tong’s eyes on him, it would be too obvious.
Su Tong chuckled. "Not sure? Don't you go often, or are you just very loyal to one place? It doesn't matter; I’m not picky, as long as they are local girls. I’ve been coveting Shanghai girls for a long time. Just take me where you go—I trust your taste. The places you visit must be high-end, so the girls can’t be bad."
*Damn it,* Qin Feng’s face darkened. He couldn't keep talking; if he did, he would be the one to fall before Su Tong did.
"Ugh, let’s not talk about this. How about we discuss music?" Qin Feng admitted defeat.
Su Tong waved his hand and said to Xu Yanwei, "Ms. Xu, you must have friends who work in the sex industry, right? Could you introduce a few? Preferably with a figure like yours..."
Xu Yanwei couldn't take it anymore. She turned and walked away with a dark expression; this man was sick, and she couldn't afford to be associated with him, lest she be tainted.
Qin Feng gave an awkward smile. "Well, let’s talk another day. I have things to do." With that, he hurried after Xu Yanwei.
Su Tong wore a victorious smile. *Trying to bully me just because I’m young? When I act like a hooligan, even I find it incredible.*
However, these hormones were truly terrifying. Sometimes Su Tong felt an overwhelming urge to date—not for anything else, but just to satisfy those hormones so they wouldn't control his thoughts. But then he realized, *if I just mess around like that, wouldn't I be even more controlled by my hormones?*
It was too terrifying. At the end of the day, hormones were the most powerful force of all—so powerful that you could fall into their trap while thinking you were the one in control.
After Qin Feng and Xu Yanwei fled, Su Tong didn't delay and headed straight back to the hotel.
"Sister Yinyin, you should have less contact with those two. I’m afraid you’ll be deceived. Sigh, life really is like a play. I only used to see this on TV, but now I’ve run into it in real life. Knowing full well that both sides are enemies, they still come up with smiles to make friends." Once inside Lin Yin’s room, Su Tong lectured her before sighing with deep emotion. "I was almost tricked into going to a hotel room by that busty beauty earlier, but then I thought of you, Sister Yinyin, and I ran back."
At first, Su Tong’s words made Lin Yin giggle, then surprised, and finally, she blushed. *What is he talking about, 'thought of me and ran back'? I’m not your girlfriend.*
But she quickly regained her composure. "Little Tong, you’re talking nonsense again. What kind of girl would be that bold?"
Su Tong disagreed. "A girl? She’s long since seen it all. You don’t know how treacherous the world is—all sorts of people exist. Of course, such women exist. Sister Yinyin, let me tell you, I’ve heard that if they grow that way, that big, it’s definitely because they’ve been touched by too many men, and not just one..."
When Su Tong discussed sensitive topics, he did so with a look of pure innocence and clean eyes. Lin Yin and the others were already used to it; if it were any other girl, she would have kicked him out long ago.
"Don't listen to hearsay..." Lin Yin disagreed with Su Tong’s perspective. *What nonsense,* she thought. *Mine is all-natural; I rarely even drink papaya milk, and it’s still grown to this scale.* But she was too embarrassed to say it out loud.
At that moment, Su Tong’s expression suddenly brightened. He quickly said goodbye to Lin Yin, claiming he had something to take care of back in his room.
