Chapter 157: What? I Became Famous Before Even Reaching Beautiful Country?

“Sit here quietly and behave yourself. I’m going to see what’s going on.”

Qin Nuanyu nodded, and Yang Xiaofan hurried after the flight attendant.

Qin Nuanxin’s eyes lit up, and she immediately followed.

“Big Sister, I’m going to help my brother-in-law.”

Qin Nuanyu quickly called after her, “You little brat, don’t go there and make trouble!”

But it was already too late. Qin Nuanxin ran as fast as a rabbit.

As she ran, she opened her phone and started a livestream.

Technology had advanced rapidly. Even aboard an airplane, passengers could still use electronic devices.

“Everyone, we’re currently on a plane headed to the United States. The captain just hit his head on something, and no one is able to fly the plane right now. My brother-in-law happens to know medicine, so he’s gone over to examine the captain. I’m secretly filming this for you, so don’t let anyone know.”

The viewers in the livestream immediately became excited.

“Holy crap! Your brother-in-law actually went to the United States? If I’d known, I would have gone too.”

“I’m buying a ticket right now. I’m going to the United States to run into your brother-in-law.”

“Heh, I’m in the United States on business. I’ll just wait until I meet him.”

“Everyone, stop fooling around. Didn’t you hear? The captain can’t fly the plane right now, and your brother-in-law is facing a huge problem. If he can’t save the captain, the plane might crash, and your brother-in-law could lose his life.”

“Damn! No way! Heaven, don’t do something as cruel as envying a genius!”

By then, the livestream viewers could already see that Yang Xiaofan had reached the captain’s side.

He placed his right hand lightly on the captain’s wrist and examined his condition. His brows slowly furrowed.

The flight attendant and co-pilot anxiously asked, “How is he? Is the captain all right?”

Yang Xiaofan said gravely, “The situation isn’t good. He only suffered a mild concussion when he hit his head, which normally wouldn’t be a serious problem. But there’s a blood clot in his brain. It must have been caused by an injury within the past three months, which is probably why your company’s medical examination didn’t detect it.”

“That must be it. Our company’s medical examination was five months ago. What do we do now? The plane will be landing in only a few minutes. Is there still enough time?”

Yang Xiaofan continued, “If I had silver needles, I could cure him in one minute. But I don’t have any with me. I can only use internal energy to force the clot out through his nasal passage. That process will take at least five and a half minutes.”

The flight attendant was so frantic that tears streamed down her face.

“What are we supposed to do? The plane will probably land in three or four minutes. There simply isn’t enough time.”

Yang Xiaofan rubbed his temples. This problem was giving him a real headache.

It was not something he should have had to deal with in the first place. He was merely a passenger.

But the problem was that he happened to be on this plane.

So either he did nothing and everyone on board died in a crash, or he intervened, exhausted himself, and spent another fortune upgrading his flying skills.

It would take at least ten million—probably enough to raise his skill to Grandmaster level.

How unlucky could he be?

At that moment, the cockpit radio crackled with a voice from the airport.

“Flight 9527, you have entered the landing corridor. Your course has deviated. What is the situation? Please respond.”

The co-pilot gritted his teeth and said, “The captain has fallen ill and is unconscious. I can’t fly the plane by myself.”

“What? How could this happen?”

“I don’t know either. It happened so suddenly.”

“Correct your course immediately. The airport will urgently clear an area and do everything possible to help you land safely.”

“I…”

The co-pilot stared at the flight attendant and Yang Xiaofan, his expression one of utter despair.

“I’m too nervous. My hands aren’t obeying me.”

Yang Xiaofan slapped his forehead.

Damn it. How had he ended up running into something like this?

He had no choice but to intervene.

The livestream chat was filled with worry.

“It’s over. Is your brother-in-law really going to die this time?”

“Damn it! Don’t die, brother-in-law! Sob… I’m your loyal fan. My greatest wish in life is to meet you just once.”

The cockpit had also descended into chaos.

“What do we do? Are we going to die?”

“Wah… I don’t want to die!”

Seeing everyone begin to panic, Yang Xiaofan shouted irritably, “What are you all yelling about? You still have me! Everyone, quiet down.”

His shout seemed to give them a pillar of support, and the commotion immediately stopped.

Yang Xiaofan glanced at the co-pilot and said coldly, “Calm down. Are you even a man? Do your job. Leave everything else to me.”

With that, Yang Xiaofan immediately summoned the God-Making System in his mind and spent ten million on flying skills, instantly raising his ability to the Grandmaster level.

In that moment, a vast amount of knowledge and experience about flying an airplane appeared in his mind. It felt as though he had been flying planes for his entire life.

He then sat down in the pilot’s seat and took control of the aircraft.

The livestream viewers went wild.

“Holy crap! Your brother-in-law knows how to fly a plane too?”

“I give up. He can master a skill this difficult too. Is there anything he can’t do?”

But that was not even the most astonishing part.

Yang Xiaofan flew the plane while giving orders to the flight attendants.

“Quickly, bring the captain over here. Support his head.”

“Are you going to treat him right now?”

“The blood clot in his brain is pressing against his nervous system. If I don’t treat him immediately, it could cause permanent brain damage. If delayed treatment turns him into a vegetable, wouldn’t that be a tragedy?”

“Oh, right. Okay.”

The flight attendants immediately carried the captain over. While controlling the plane, Yang Xiaofan placed a hand on the captain’s head.

The livestream viewers became even more frantic.

“Holy crap! He can fly a plane and treat someone at the same time?”

“Your brother-in-law isn’t human anymore. He’s a god!”

Meanwhile, in the United States, no one knew how the news had leaked, but word of the airplane accident had already spread, triggering extensive media coverage.

Perhaps an employee had exposed the confidential news in exchange for profit.

Regardless, the American media quickly brought the incident to the attention of most viewers across the country.

“We interrupt this broadcast for an emergency report. According to current information, a passenger plane from the East bound for our country has veered off course after the captain fell ill, potentially leading to a catastrophic accident. The plane is less than three minutes from landing. We have discovered a livestream on an Eastern streaming app showing the situation aboard the aircraft. Let us now connect to that livestream.”
