Chapter Twelve: Brother Tiger
"You blind mutt! You even dare to touch my woman? Are you looking for trouble?"
Wang Qian threw herself at Wang Ze, grabbing his arm, her eyes sparkling with admiration.
"Wang Ze, you were amazing!"
Wang Ze curled his lips into a smug smile and boasted,
"Of course! I've trained in Taekwondo, you know."
"I'm just crazy about you!"
"Heh, let's go back and have a drink."
"Alright!"
After beating someone up, Wang Ze's pent-up frustration vanished, replaced by an overwhelming sense of ease and satisfaction.
But just as they walked away, the bald brute slowly got up from the floor, his face dark, and spat out a mouthful of blood.
"Damn it, you mutt—just you wait."
With that, he dashed off toward another corridor.
There was the most exclusive VIP suite in Tropical Paradise.
Wang Ze and Wang Qian returned to their private room in high spirits. Yang Xiaofan had stopped singing, and other classmates were playing around.
Seeing them come back, a classmate couldn't help but ask curiously,
"Wang Ze, why are you so happy? Did something good happen?"
Wang Ze lit a cigarette, looking smug.
"Not exactly a good thing, just a deadbeat bald guy with no sense tried to mess with Wang Qian. I taught him a lesson."
Wang Qian eagerly chimed in,
"You wouldn't believe it—Wang Ze was incredible! That bald guy must weigh several hundred pounds, but Wang Ze took him down in just a few moves."
Qin Nuanyu frowned slightly and said,
"We're still students. It's best to avoid trouble when we're out. Places like KTV are full of all sorts; if we offend someone with real power, we could be in serious trouble."
Wang Ze waved his hand dismissively.
"What is there to be afraid of? With my connections in Northern Su, I don't care if he's the King of Heaven himself. Don't worry, class leader. If he dares come looking for trouble, I'll just beat him up again."
No sooner had he finished speaking than the door to their suite was suddenly kicked open with a loud bang.
The explosion of sound startled everyone.
A group of young men in suits rushed in.
When Wang Ze saw the bald, heavyset man at the back, his expression changed slightly.
The bald man was clearly after him. Once inside, he ignored everyone else and fixed his cold gaze on Wang Ze, sneering,
"You little bastard, you were pretty cocky just now, weren't you? Beat me up so badly—didn't expect me to come back for you, did you?"
Wang Ze forced himself to remain calm.
"You were the one who tried to harass my girlfriend."
"Harass your mother!"
The bald man stepped forward and slapped Wang Ze hard across the face.
"If I bothered with her, she should feel honored. And who the hell are you to lecture me?"
Wang Ze clutched his cheek, stunned by the blow.
Truth be told, he was still just a student, unaccustomed to scenes like this.
"You... You'd better not push me. Do you believe I can't find someone to deal with you?"
"Go ahead! Try it! You should get out and ask around about Brother Tiger. In all of Northern Su, if anyone dares help you against me, I'll take their family name as my own!"
A classmate couldn't help but cry out,
"Brother Tiger! He's actually Brother Tiger!"
"Who is Brother Tiger?"
"Brother Tiger is a big name in Northern Su. He's ruthless—spent time in prison when he was younger. He has wealth, connections, everything. No one dares cross him."
A collective gasp swept through the room. Wang Ze's face turned a sickly shade, cold sweat beading on his forehead.
He swallowed and forced out,
"I didn't realize whom I was dealing with today. But my uncle is the manager of Tropical Paradise. Please, Brother Tiger, for his sake, let's let this go."
"Rubbish!"
Brother Tiger bellowed, mercilessly rejecting Wang Ze.
"A mere manager? Who does he think he is to expect me to give him face?"
"Then what do you want?"
Brother Tiger grinned, his eyes sweeping greedily over Wang Qian, making her shrink behind Wang Ze.
"Simple. You kneel and kowtow to me ten times, then let your girlfriend spend the night with me. That's the only way I'll let this go."
"Impossible!"
Wang Ze refused flatly.
It was a joke—if he handed Wang Qian over, how could he ever show his face at Northern Su University again?
Brother Tiger's face darkened.
"Refuse? Then I'll kill you."
Just as he finished speaking, the door suddenly opened again and a man in a suit rushed in.
"Brother Tiger, please calm down. This kid is my nephew—do me a favor, let him go."
It was Wang Ze's uncle.
Wang Ze breathed a sigh of relief.
But Brother Tiger's expression didn't change; if anything, he grew more derisive.
"What, Wang Ergou? You think your face is worth that much? Your nephew beats me up and you expect me to let it go?"
Wang Ze's uncle forced a smile and tried to persuade him.
"Brother Tiger, you're a bigger man—let it go. I'll cover all your expenses tonight, how about that?"
"Rubbish!"
Brother Tiger slapped him to the ground on the spot.
"Get lost. I'm having him tonight—no one can save him, not even the King of Heaven! And you, you little fly, are even more useless!"
Wang Ze was utterly crushed.
Wang Qian broke down in tears.
"Wu wu... Wang Ze, save me, I don't want to go with him."
If she spent the night with him, how could she ever lift her head again?
But Wang Ze couldn't utter a word.
For all his bravado, he was nothing but a coward at heart.
Before someone like Brother Tiger, he had no power to resist.
Yang Xiaofan didn't step in to help, even though he had strengthened his body and improved his fighting skills.
But... this had nothing to do with him.
There was no reason for him to stick his neck out.
However, just because he wouldn't act didn't mean someone else wouldn't.
Especially Qin Nuanyu.
As class leader, she couldn't possibly stand by and do nothing.
"You can't take my classmate away! What you're doing is illegal!"
Yang Xiaofan couldn't help but slap his forehead. Did this naive girl really think someone like Brother Tiger cared about the law?
Sure enough, when Brother Tiger heard her, he wasn't intimidated at all. Instead, he burst out laughing.
"Hahaha... how amusing. Someone dares threaten me! Originally, I only wanted her to keep me company tonight, but I've changed my mind. You won't be leaving either."
