034 Taming the Stubborn Gao Feifei

Gao Feifei wanted to listen too.
An An waved her hand dismissively, “Go stand farther away, I’m not telling you.”
Gao Feifei, flustered and annoyed, retorted, “Are you going to say bad things about me?”
An An, beaming with pride, placed her small hands on her hips and said smugly, “I’m not telling you.”
After whispering with Tian Wenhan, who nodded while glancing at Gao Feifei, Gao Feifei became even more convinced that An An and Tian Wenhan were speaking ill of her. She immediately ran to tell the teacher.
“Teacher Nana, An An and Tian Wenhan are saying bad things about me!”
Fan Lina stepped forward and crouched down in front of An An. “An An, is that true?”
“Of course not. I didn’t say anything bad about her,” An An replied.
“Sure you did.”
“I didn’t.”
“You did!”
The two children were on the verge of arguing, but suddenly An An fell silent and ran off.
With An An gone, Gao Feifei had no one to quarrel with; it was like punching a cotton ball.
Xia Kexuan rested her chin on her hand, pretending to flip through a book.
Those picture books were so childish.
An An had transferred here from nowhere, but why hadn’t Sui Yu transferred yet?
If it weren’t for Sui Yu, she wouldn’t want to stay in this lousy place for even a second!
She couldn’t stand the kindergarten picture books at all. Seeing Gao Feifei getting upset by An An was the perfect opportunity for her to reconcile and befriend Gao Feifei.
Unexpectedly, as Xia Kexuan smiled and called out to Feifei, Gao Feifei’s chubby little face turned away with a huff and ran off.
Fan Lina shook her head with a smile.
Gao Feifei’s chubby cheeks were rosy and tender, her skin so soft it seemed as if water could be squeezed from it—utterly adorable.
If only her personality were a bit better, she would be very popular among the children.
Just thinking about Feifei’s mother made Fan Lina a little headache.
She had privately sent several parenting-related posts visible only to Feifei’s mother, but there was still no change.
Ten minutes later, Tian Wenhan finished another drawing.
An An exclaimed, “Wow! Tian Wenhan, you drew so well! This picture is so beautiful! Everyone, come take a look!”
The other children gathered around and gasped in admiration.

Gao Feifei also came over, but without even glancing, she snorted, “What’s so great about it? It’s ugly!”
An An asked incredulously, “Are you serious? Are you sure it’s really ugly? It looks great to me!”
“Ugly, ugly, it’s just ugly.”
Suddenly, one child laughed, “Gao Feifei, you’re insulting yourself!”
Gao Feifei got angry. “What do you mean? I’m not stupid enough to insult myself!”
“You just said it was ugly. If you’re insulting anyone, it’s yourself. An An already praised you—she said you look nice.”
“What? She was obviously praising Tian Wenhan’s drawing.”
“But the girl in the picture is you! Tian Wenhan drew a picture of you.”
An An shook the drawing, smiling sweetly. “Yeah, Tian Wenhan, are you planning to give this picture to Gao Feifei? But she thinks it’s ugly, so we might as well throw it in the trash since she doesn’t care!”
Gao Feifei panicked. She finally realized who the girl in the drawing was—it was her!
Tian Wenhan’s drawing was very vivid. From the clothes, it was clear he drew her. The girl in the picture was super cute. Was that really her?
Gao Feifei reached out to grab it but was afraid of damaging it.
Having suffered losses holding things from An An before, she knew there was no benefit in fighting An An head-on.
Don’t be fooled by An An’s well-behaved appearance; she could be quite fierce when necessary.
Looking at An An, Gao Feifei’s voice softened more than ever. “An An, can you give me the picture back? Tian Wenhan, is this for me?”
Tian Wenhan pouted his chubby face and coolly said, “Yes, it’s for you. An An asked me to draw it.”
An An turned the picture around for Gao Feifei to see. “Gao Feifei, just tell me, is it pretty or not?”
Gao Feifei thought of the earlier drawing, which was obviously beautiful, but she insisted it was ugly.
Her face flushed immediately.
She stammered, “It’s, it’s pretty. Of course it’s pretty. The one Tian Wenhan gave you is also pretty, even prettier.”
An An was satisfied and generously handed the picture to Gao Feifei. “They’re all equally pretty. Gao Feifei, so you can speak nicely after all. If you don’t bully me or yell loudly, I’ll be your friend.”
Gao Feifei instinctively wanted to rebut, Who wants to be friends with you!
But seeing An An surrounded by so many children, all of whom liked her so much, she swallowed her words and took the picture, then ran away.
She went off to one side, studying the drawing seriously, a smile unconsciously spreading across her face.
Xia Kexuan glanced over and sneered softly. How boring!
Afternoon snack time arrived. The children were growing and needed frequent small meals.
After replenishing their nutrition, the sun wasn’t so strong anymore—perfect for outdoor activities.

Fan Lina asked the children, “Do you want to play games or go see the animals?”
The children were tired of playing games every day; animals were always fascinating.
Although An An wanted to play games, the majority ruled, so they decided to go see the animals.
The classroom was still some distance from the animals, but walking along a red brick path through the grass was a shortcut.
“Children, line up properly. Boys in one line, girls in another, hold hands tightly.”
An An was very eager to line up and, because of her enthusiasm, stood at the very front.
Tian Wenhan, wanting to hold An An’s hand, stood first in the boys’ line.
Gao Feifei stood behind An An.
The children held hands as they walked forward, chattering cheerfully, their little yellow sun hats adorably shading their heads.
The blue pigeon flew over again.
All the kindergarten children recognized this blue pigeon.
It was beautiful and a strong flyer.
The blue pigeon circled above their heads, and the children happily waved their hands.
An An’s voice was the loudest, waving her small arms vigorously, as if her whole body was putting in effort.
“Little Blue, Little Blue, come here! Little Blue, want to play together?”
The children all imitated An An: “Little Pigeon, Little Pigeon, come play?”
“Little Blue, Little Blue, come play?”
“Little Pigeon, Little Pigeon, come play?”
Then a magical scene unfolded: the usually wary blue pigeon flew straight toward An An.
Tian Wenhan instinctively stepped in front of An An. Oh no, the pigeon is going to peck her!
But unexpectedly, the blue pigeon perched on An An’s shoulder, its beady eyes seemingly giving the little chubby boy a sharp glance.
An An reached out and gently stroked the blue pigeon’s head.
“Little Blue, you’re so good. What do you like to eat? I’ll bring you some tomorrow. Remember to come to Class Five tomorrow to wait for me.”
“Wow, An An, this little pigeon listens to you so well. Can I touch it?”
