Hearing Jiang Zi say this, I couldn't help but laugh. This brat usually treated me with nothing but cold sarcasm and mockery, yet now that I was dead, she actually wanted to offer incense at my grave. I couldn't figure out what was going through her mind. Perhaps she was just afraid that I would come looking for her from beyond the grave.

Jiang Yue was silent for a moment before nodding. "Let’s go."

"Sister, you have to come with me. I’m scared to go alone."

Jiang Yue didn't say much and agreed with a nod.

The next morning, Jiang Yue brought Jiang Zi to my cemetery. As soon as they entered, they spotted a figure standing before my tombstone. It was none other than Liu Qing. Jiang Yue abruptly stopped, her gaze fixed coldly on Liu Qing’s back.

"Sister, why did you stop?"

"You go ahead; I’ll wait for you here," Jiang Yue said, her voice dropping as she kept her eyes on Liu Qing.

"We’re already inside, just come with me. I’m really scared."

"There’s someone over there. Go yourself," Jiang Yue said, pointing.

Jiang Zi followed the direction of her sister’s finger and frowned. "Who is that?"

Jiang Yue sneered, "Chu Jianghe’s old flame."

Jiang Zi looked surprised. "Really? He had an old flame? And looking at her back, she seems to have a decent figure! Sister, how can you tolerate this?"

Jiang Yue gave a dismissive hum. "Do you think I’m inferior to her?"

"Of course you’re better, Sister," Jiang Zi said, acting spoiled. "But please, come with me. I don’t even know that woman."

After a moment of thought, Jiang Yue relented and continued walking with Jiang Zi toward my tombstone.

Liu Qing looked utterly haggard. She, who usually loved to wear makeup, was completely bare-faced. She stood alone in front of my grave, staring blankly at the stone. It wasn't until Jiang Yue and Jiang Zi were right beside her that she realized someone had arrived, and she turned around immediately. Upon seeing Jiang Yue, Liu Qing’s brows furrowed, and she asked, "What are you doing here?"

"You can come, so why can’t I?" Jiang Yue retorted, staring straight at her.

"You aren't welcome here!" Liu Qing said coldly.

"Ha!" Jiang Yue gave a cold laugh. "Is this your living room? Why can’t I come?" She paused, then added with emphasis, "I am Chu Jianghe’s wife. And what are you?"

Liu Qing looked at her with utter contempt. "You aren't worthy!"

Hearing this, Jiang Zi instantly bristled. "Hey! Is that any way to talk to my sister?"

"You must be Jiang Zi, right?" Liu Qing looked at her coldly. "I’ve heard about you from Chu Jianghe. You’re the same kind of trash as your sister. It’s a waste that Chu Jianghe defended you at every turn. Ugh!"

"You... you foul woman! Who are you calling trash?" Jiang Zi shouted, furious.

"I’m calling you trash. So what?" Liu Qing’s spirit was not the least bit diminished.

I watched the whole scene from the sidelines. Even though I knew Liu Qing wouldn't fare well by offending them, I was already dead; there was nothing I could do to stop her. Three women make for a drama, and this one was a two-on-one, yet Liu Qing didn't back down against the Jiang sisters.

Finally, Jiang Yue waved her hand and said, "Enough, Jiang Zi. Don't lower yourself to her level."

But Jiang Zi insisted, "Sister, let’s come back later. I don’t want anyone else here."

"Get out!" Liu Qing snapped.

Jiang Yue’s expression had turned hideous. Her chest heaved, and her breathing grew rapid, like a small lioness on the verge of erupting. Seeing this, Liu Qing continued to mock her, "I’ve only said a few words and you’re already this angry. But have you ever thought about how you treated Chu Jianghe during the years you were with him?"

Jiang Yue glared at Liu Qing, gritting her teeth. "How I treated him is none of your business! Stop with your cryptic, snide remarks."

"Exactly! Who do you think you are?" Jiang Zi sneered. "My sister just said you were his old flame. Even if you were, you’re nothing but the scraps my sister left behind!"

"Hmph!" Liu Qing wasn't rattled in the slightest. She scoffed, "And who do you think you are? A C-list actress who only climbed the ladder because of Chu Jianghe. I wouldn't even want your scraps. Don't think so highly of yourself!"

"You! You..." Jiang Zi, usually sharp-tongued, was rendered speechless and frantic by Liu Qing’s retort. "Sister, look at her! She has no respect for us at all."

Jiang Yue could do nothing but say, "Listen here, Liu. I know you’re good at biting back, but don’t forget, I can have you replaced at your job whenever I want."

"Oh! I’m well aware of that, which is why I’ve already resigned. No need to trouble yourself, Miss Jiang."

Jiang Yue’s eyes darkened. She took two steps toward Liu Qing and asked, "Are you sure you want to fight me to the end?"

"Those with nothing to lose aren't afraid of those who have everything! You’ve harmed Chu Jianghe so deeply, and now you’re not even intending to investigate the truth behind his car accident. Why shouldn't I fight you?"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Zi frowned. "Sister, she... what is she talking about? What truth about the car accident?"

"It’s nothing," Jiang Yue said coldly.

Liu Qing immediately interjected, "Big star, you didn't know, did you? Your sister wants to convince the police to drop the case. Chu Jianghe’s death wasn't an accident—it was man-made!"

"Man-made? How is that possible? Who would have a grudge against him?"

"Who else?" Liu Qing sneered. "If it’s not for revenge, it’s for love. Think carefully—whose interests did Chu Jianghe threaten?"

Jiang Zi looked blank. "How would I know? It has nothing to do with me..." As she spoke, a thought occurred to her, and she suddenly looked at Jiang Yue. "Sister, does she mean to say this has something to do with Cheng Jun?"

Jiang Yue’s brows were tightly knitted, her mouth pressed into a thin line, as if she were contemplating something. After a long silence, she finally dismissed it. "Don't listen to her trying to stir up trouble. The police have no concrete information. How could she know anything!"

"Exactly! How could you just spout nonsense? Careful, or I’ll sue you for slander!"

Before Jiang Zi could finish her sentence, Jiang Yue’s phone rang. She pulled it out, glanced at the caller ID, and her brow furrowed even deeper. After a moment of hesitation, she answered.

"Hello? Is something the matter?"

"What did you say?"

"You caught the hit-and-run driver?"

"Fine, fine. I’m coming right now."
