"What is the situation?"

"Reporting to you, sir, the Kestan Kingdom front is failing. The firepower from the Eastern Alliance and the Northern Union is becoming difficult for us to withstand."

Within the Satan faction, a doctor clad in a white lab coat was receiving a report from his subordinate. This man was Cole's teacher, the renowned Professor Titan.

Indeed, the leaders of both the Human faction and the Satan faction were, in fact, human. The difference, however, lay in the fact that the humans of the Satan faction had undergone genetic modification, and their leader was none other than that celebrated biological scientist. He, too, had been infected by genetic mutation, though to a lesser extent than the others. Yet, despite this, everyone looked to him as their leader. After all, within the entire Satan faction, without the Doctor, they would not exist. As the most formidable biological scientist, his "Satan" technology had reached a high level of maturity. He could freely alter any human to possess the physical traits and abilities he desired. Even so, those who could withstand such procedures were the minority. Most subjects could not endure these powers, and only the few with a certain resistance could bear the burden. The Grim Reaper was one such case; Dracula was another, and Hades was a third. These characters, named after "death," all possessed abilities corresponding to their titles. The Grim Reaper, for instance, was elusive, capable of reaping any life. Dracula possessed bat wings, the power of flight, and the ability of immortal regeneration.

Yet, even in the face of such extraordinary powers, there existed something far stronger: legendary weapons. And the one who researched these was none other than Cole from the Human faction. Only the Satan faction truly understood this; they were well aware of the Human faction's strength and the existence of that one special individual. As for that person, his capabilities, and his teacher—even though they spoke with great arrogance, no one among them truly believed they had the strength to defeat him by force. He was, after all, the man acknowledged by the Doctor.

Since that person appeared a quarter ago, they had finally realized his true power. They had seen weapons they had never dreamed of and heard legends they had never imagined. That man had forged those mythical weapons and used them against them. If the Satan faction wished to win, the only way would be to eliminate him before he fully matured. But no one among them was capable of killing him, and by now, that man had already reached his peak. Infiltrate the human world? That was impossible. The last time an infiltrator from the Satan faction tried, they were destroyed before they even reached human-controlled territory.

"Doctor, what should we do next?"

Within the Satan faction, there were divisions, the greatest of which was between the Transformed and the Partially Transformed. The fully transformed were mindless monsters, while the partially transformed belonged to the category of "Evolutionaries." These individuals had the ability to control the Satan cells within their bodies and harness them for their own use. Only those present in this room, along with a few rank-and-file soldiers who possessed minimal control, could achieve this. Evolutionaries were categorized by type: some possessed unique, specialized abilities, while others simply possessed standard, basic abilities. However, the latter far outnumbered the former, serving as little more than slaves within their faction. There were many types of Satan beings, most of which were derived from animals, with those capable of independent action serving as their leaders.

Dogs, after genetic mutation, were known as Hellhounds, and their leader was the Hell-Cerberus. Indeed, his name originated from the three-headed hound that guarded the underworld in Greek mythology. The Doctor knew this legend and used the name, along with the creature's abilities, to create this species. Hydra was a serpentine lifeform, and their leader was the legendary Nine-Headed Serpent.

These were all creations born from the Doctor's whims. He would randomly alter the genes of a creature and integrate his own technology to transform it into something entirely new. Thus far, the animal-type Satan beings were mostly derived from common pets or common pests like rats and cockroaches found in daily life.

"Dracula, having experienced this, you should understand his power by now, shouldn't you? Don't blame me for not warning you. Even with your twelve lives, it is difficult to survive his full-strength strike. You likely only escaped with your life because he was merely testing his weapons. Had he truly used a finished product against you, you would likely no longer be in this world. Believe me, I know my student very well."

On the operating table, a creature with massive bat wings was undergoing genetic repair by Professor Titan. Losing five lives in succession, losing those five life-circuits, was unimaginable for any creature. A life-circuit was a set of blood vessels and a heart. A normal human had only one such set, but according to research, if a second circuit could be attached to a living body, then even if one failed completely, the lifeform could still linger on.

For the sake of his experiments, Dracula possessed twelve such life-circuits. Furthermore, according to the modifications, when one circuit was destroyed, the next would consume and integrate it. Each time this happened, his vitality would become stronger, yet also more fragile. Once the final circuit broke, the lifeform would truly die.

"I am sorry, Doctor. I really did not expect him to have mastered the ability to manipulate space. He dragged me into another dimension, and inside that space, I was simply no match for him. He could not only teleport and appear out of thin air, but he could also retrieve objects from afar to use against me. I was completely unable to defeat him."

"Has he reached that level already? I truly did not anticipate this. If that is the case, our failure is only a matter of time. Once he reaches that degree of power, they could simply cast us into another dimension and let us perish on our own."

Hearing Dracula's words, the Doctor could not help but sigh. He understood his student well. His student had already surpassed every figure from the past—be it Paracelsus, Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, or any other, they could no longer be compared to him. After all, anyone who could truly master space was destined to be recorded in the annals of history.

"But so what? Our lives are still lives! He cannot possibly execute all of us by himself! I have merely created a new species ahead of time. I will not let him render my experiments futile. Remember, unless absolutely necessary, do not fight him alone. My student possesses almost all the knowledge I have given him; you are no match for him."

"Understood, Doctor."

Dracula lay on the operating table, surrendering himself to Professor Titan. The Professor seemed to be adding new drugs to Dracula's system. As the serum was injected, Dracula's wings suddenly expanded, and a tremendous sound erupted from his throat. Although it faded quickly, a clear ultrasonic wave filled the room. However, since everyone present was not human, they were entirely unaffected by the ultrasound.

"It is done. The complete version of Dracula. This time, he should have the power to put up a fight!"
